Morals from the Aspirants series

What morals do we get from the TVF web series "Aspirants"? Which character do you like the most in Aspirants?

Spoilers Ahead.

Here are my takeaways from ‘Aspirants’.

Episode 1

  • In this episode Abhilash struggles to choose his optional. He already knows that he is good at history but lot of free advices from people confuses him more.
  • What I have learned is that -
    • We already have answers to the most of our questions. We keep sitting and search for answers.
    • The noice around us sometimes mutes the voice which is inside of us. We just need to listen the voice that is screaming inside us.
    • There are lot of people who will demoral you but you gotta do what your heart says.

Episode 2

  • In this episode, Abhilash thinks that just because teacher has not cleared the exam, how can he guide him properly.
    • What I believe here is, the people who succeed will tell you success stories but people who have failed will tell you what you don't need to do.
    • They may not always be right but they have more experiences of being wrong. The one who knows where the things can go wrong, can definitely guide you better.

Episode 3

  • This episode is very intricate if you see. Abhilash is always looking at the problem, but he merely tries to find out the solution.
  • Dhairya puts his books on Abhilash’ spectacles and it gets broken. She does this with purpose, I guess.
  • This scene signies that - Dhairya not only tries to destroy the negative vision of Abhilash but also shows him how to think and look at things differently, when she makes him buy new spectacles.

Episode 4

  • There is always a constant question about Plan B.
  • I think both ways, you should and you should not have the Plan B.
    • Having plan B, sometimes can make you loose your enthusiasm, because you think that if this not, then I do have something to look forward.
      • It also sometimes makes you think that you are not quite sure of your current plan.
    • Not having plan B, can have two effects. Like it can kick you hard because you don't have any other plan but can make you anxious as well.
  • Also, the important takeaway is that sometimes you will have to leave people inorder to move ahead.

Episode 5

  • One thing that I learned from this episode is, no matter what people say, no matter where you stand, if you are dedicated enough you will succeed one day or the other.
  • Hardwork can take you all places.
  • It was overall a happy ending, I guess. You have to accept the truth and move on.

I can relate to two characters so much.

  1. Dhairya
  • I have played the role of Dhairya for so many people in my life. I have helped lot of Abhilash, just take away that love and relationship part away.
  • Similarly, Dhairya very well knows what we wants to do whether she clears UPSC or not, she wants to open an NGO. I also do have similar plans for social welfare.

2. Sandeep Bhaiya.

  • It instantly reminds me of my medical entrance days. Everyone around me was very sure that I could make it, but things didn't happen that way.

“I feel like a satellite, who achieve its orbit with the force of rocket, but forgot the importance of rocket. I left it somewhere behind. I just go round and round alone in my own orbit. I am of help to the world but have got trapped in the axis.”

I can relate with this dialogue so much. It gives me goosebumps.
