How an Afghanistani man educate her daughter?

What is something that completely blows your mind?

Meet Mia Khan. He travels 12 km on motorbike every day to get his three daughters to their school and then waits some hours for the school’s dismissal bell to take his daughters back to home. This has now become a routine for him.

“I am illiterate, and my daughter's education is very valuable to me for there are no female doctors in our place. It is my greatest desire to educate my daughters like my sons.” he says.

Sitting in typical school classroom while presenting lectures.

It may be common for you guys, but it is strange here in Afghanistan where society practices misogyny and thinks women are not worthy of being more than housekeepers.

A man who resides in Paktika, where misogyny is highly pronounced, considers educating his daughters a duty is something that blew my mind.
